The Role We are looking for a Practice Director to lead the CDMS Professional Services team in Asia – primarily in China, Japan, and South Korea. The professional services team is responsible for the implementation projects (study builds), training and enablement services of the Veeva’s CDMS suite of products. In your role, you will oversee the hiring of talented professional services consultants, grow the future leaders, develop new services offerings, and implement new practice policies for the team. What You’ll Do- Highest level of escalation for project issues and accountability for project success across all Veeva’s CDMS products in Asia
- Grow a team of Professional Services consulting focusing on China, Japan, South Korea
- Manage utilization, demand planning, and services revenue
- Develop the operating model which can support our growing product portfolio (e.g., RTSM, patient-centric applications)
- Build relationships with the Veeva global teams (Services team, Product Team, Support team) and define the right level of regional autonomy
- Collaborate with Sales in the design of local services offering for CROs and Sponsors
- Develop and maintain innovative consulting processes
Requirements
- 8+ years of direct experience with EDC or IRT/RTSM clinical software solutions in a client-facing role
- 3+ years of team management experience
- Direct working experience in East Asia (China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan); understands business and cultural nuances
- Ability and willingness to “roll up one’s sleeves” and take on any Services role
- Business level English
Nice to Have
- Chinese, Korean, or Japanese language fluency
- Direct experience in the recruitment of Clinical Data Management employees in Asia
